How do you pick up the paddles for the defibrillator? I tried to pick it up with a and b like with the forceps and nothing is working.

The paddles show up on there own. All you do is move the nun chuck (how ever you spell it) and the wiimote closer to the tv. Like you are pushing them away from u. Then when the bar reaches the green dot click z and b at the same time
